IPU CET Spot Round For BBA

Spot Round is unlike from Management Quota and Sliding Round conducted offline by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IP University) to fill the vacant seats left after 1st, 2nd, 3rd and the sliding rounds of Online Counselling for the programmes & courses like BBA, BCA, BAJMC (BA JMC), MBA, MCA, BA /BBA LLB, B.Ed, B.Com, B.Tech and LE B.Tech etc.

GGSIPU CET BBA Counselling 2020 – Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha (ggsipu) University will soon begin the choice filling of GGS IP University CET BBA counselling 2020. The last date for CET registration for GGSIPU CET BBA 2020 counselling was from October 19 to October 22. The University had released the whole schedule for GGSIPU CET BBA 2020 counselling on September 22. The procedure is followed by the verification of papers and payment of counselling participation fee. Further, the IPU CET counselling is to be conducted in 3 rounds for now.

Only applicants who qualified the GGSIPU CET BBA exam will be attending the counselling procedure. The final merit list of GGSIPU CET BBA was declared on October 10 in PDF format. Students will have to attend the GGSIPU BBA CET counselling 2020 in the offline procedure as per the date and venue that will be mentioned.

GGSIPU CET BBA Counselling Procedure 2020

Candidates aspiring for admission to BBA of GGSIPU should follow the steps mentioned below to appear for IPU CET counselling. GGSIPU CET BBA 2020 counselling will be held in four steps which are:

Step 1 – Registration

For successful registration, candidates should follow the steps mentioned below:

1- Visit the official website and register to create logon credentials- ipu.admission.nic.in or click here

2- Now the registered candidates must enter the following details for authentication purpose:

Application sequence number

  • Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender
  • Create new password

After entering the above details candidates can use the application sequence number and elected password as logon details

3- Sign in by entering the login IDs and screen will display the home page to perform the following activities:

Application form submission

Upload images and documents

Registration fee payment

Choice filling

4- Fill the complete details in the application form:

Qualification and competitive exam details

5- Upload the documents as per predefined size and format

6- Now candidates must pay the application fee using EPG service after the uploading of documents.

7- A separate link will be obtainable for verification of applicant’s email id and mobile number. Candidates must enter the OTP to verify the contact details

IPU CET 2020 seat matrix

After the candidates have checked their result and taken a print out of their result card, they will have to submit the counseling fees online. This counseling fees is Rs 1000 and the last date has been extended to 26 Oct 2020.

Submission of Counseling Fees

Candidates need to submit the fee of Rs. 1000 to qualify to participate in the Counseling with respect to their courses. To submit the fees –

• Open the official website of GGSIPU i.e. ipu.ac.in.
• Click on the “Payment of Counseling Participation Fees.”
• Enter the details asked such as the CET code of the course applied for, Date of Birth & CET Roll Number.
• Fee can be paid either online or offline.
• Students also have to submit their documents which is required at the time of counseling.

After paying the counseling fees, check the status of the fee payment on the official website & print two copies of the online fee confirmation slip along with the transaction ID. This is compulsory. One is to be shown at the time of documents verification and the other one is to be retained by the candidates. Candidate also has to register within the Registration period notified on the website.

Pay the online fee before designated dates to avoid any type of transaction failure & hassles.

Counseling Process

Choice Filling

Tick mark the preference from among the list of different colleges affiliated to IP University. This is done by making combinations of streams & colleges.

After marking the choices, seat allocation matrix is carried by the university.

It is advised to the candidates to mark as many colleges as possible according to your choices, as it increases the chances of getting a seat in the desired college.

In case, one has not been allotted seat in the first round of counseling, you can easily change your preference in the following rounds.

Allocation of Seats

After the choice filling is over, all the choices/preferences considered by the candidate will be taken in to account for online allotment of seat as per merit, respective category and region.

Freezing of Allotted Seat

If candidates are satisfied with the seat allotted to them and does not want to participate any further, then they can freeze their allotted seat by clicking on the freeze option available in their account in the counseling website within the specific time period. They can do so by paying a fee of Rs. 40000 online which is University fees.

However if they doesn’t freeze their seat then the next higher preferred college will be allotted to them but that is subject to the seat availability.

Reporting of the candidates to the Allotted College

The Candidate are required to report to their respective College with all the necessary documents and pay the balance amount of fees (if any), as per schedule notified on the website, failing which the admission shall be automatically cancelled.

Spot Round Counseling

After finalization of all rounds of counseling, Spot Counseling shall be done. All eligible applicants desirous of participating in the Spot Counseling shall have to pay a separate counseling participation fee of Rs. 2000. This is non refundable.

All candidates who have qualified the IPU CET but not taken admission in the rounds of Online counseling will be eligible to participate in this round, against the available vacancy of seats.

Schedule for Online Registration IPU CET 2020

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has started the IP University 2020 counseling for IPU CET 2020 programmes from September 25 (1 pm) in online mode. The last date of IP University counseling 2020 counseling is October 10 (11:50 pm). Candidates are required to pay the IP University counseling participation fee of Rs 1000 through debit card, credit card or net banking, to participate in the process.

The counseling of IP University 2020 is being conducted in both offline and online mode. IP University 2020 online counseling is being conducted for 36 programmes and for the remaining programmes is being held in offline mode. The entrance examination of IPU CET was conducted in computer-based mode.

Candidates qualifying the examination can register themselves for the counseling of IP University 2020. It is necessary for every candidate to submit the participation fee and register themselves for appearing in IP University counseling 2020. The complete process of IP University 2020 counseling is divided into five parts. i.e., submitting the application fee, registration, choice filling, seat allotment and seat freezing. The university will conduct three rounds of IP University counseling followed by a sliding round and spot admission round to fill the vacant seats.

How to Register for IPU Counseling 2020?

Candidates can follow the steps given below in order to register themselves for IPU Counseling 2020:

Step 1: Click on the direct link given above to open the counseling portal.
Step 2: Next, Students have to click on either “New Candidate Registration (Already registered with GGSIPU)” OR “New Candidate Registration” (for fresh registration).
Step 3: Fill the Registration Form. After successful registration, an Application Number/ Application Sequence No. is generated.
Step 4: Login using Application Number/ Application Seq. no to complete the application form for counseling.
Step 5: Provide personal details, contact details, academic qualifications, competitive exam details etc.
Step 6: Upload scanned copies of required documents.
Step 7: Pay the Counseling Registration fee.

IPU Counseling 2020 Choice Filling

Candidates have to fill their choices at the time of registration. Seats will be allotted to candidates after the filling of choices/ preferences. After the completion of registration process, seats will be allotted to candidates on the basis of their choices/ preferences. Candidates, however, will be given the opportunity to edit preferences after allotment of seat in Round 01 for the subsequent round of counseling.

From previous experiences, it has been noted that some candidates fill up very few number of choices, may result in non allotment of seat during seat allotment. Therefore it is once again advised that the candidates should fill as many choices as possible to ensure that they have better chances of allotment of seat.

IPU Counseling 2020 Schedule:

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GSSIPU), New Delhi has released the revised counseling schedule for IPU admission 2020. Counseling schedule is given in the information brochure that is released by the university. University will prepare a merit list of the qualified candidates in IPU CET 2020. BCA or Bachelors in Computer Applications is an undergraduate programme of three years duration where students learn a great deal about computer languages.
