The Delhi Government on Wednesday, October 28, has increased the seat capacity of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, commonly known as GGS IP University, with 1,325 more seats in dissimilar academic programmes. The Delhi Government has increased the amount of seats in IPU and its numerous affiliated colleges from the academic session 2020-21.
The IP university, a statement issued for the purpose says, has already more than 37,000 seats in its campus and colleges/institute affiliated to it. IPU from the academic session 2020-2021 has increased the seat intake of 630 more students in different courses of undergraduate engineering or 120 seats in BA (Economics), BTech courses, 220 seats in BCom (Hons), 120 seats in BBA, 90 seats in BCA, 60 seats in MBA, 50 seats in MVoc, 20 seats in B Voc and 15 seats of Msc (Yoga).

IP University Eligibility Criteria 2020 for Bachelor of Commerce (Honours)
Eligibility | Candidates must have secured 50% as an aggregate in 10+2 or SSC examination under CBSE board or equivalent with pass marks in 5 subjects (four elective subjects + one language) |
Any exam equivalent to the aforementioned exam –
· Pre-University exam of an Indian college/school (2 years post 10 years of schooling) · Intermediate examination from any Indian university/board/any exam recognized equivalent thereto with a pass in 5 theory (written) subjects. · Foreign university conducted examination treated equivalent to 10+2 CBSE exam/Indian University · Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination conducted Indian School Certificate Examination (12 years) with a pass in 5 theory (written) subjects. |
