Hi friends I am a student of KCC INSTITUTE OF LEGAL AND HIGHER EDUCATION, GREATER NOIDA. Though we are doing very good in academics but now i am here to share another side, COLLEGE FEST experience @ KCC. We all are aware of fact that College Fest by all means is bringing students together to make a collage of unforgettable memories. We hold our events at the coolest venues and bring in the best brands and bands to give college students the opportunity to explore their cities and their new found freedom. It’s everything you’re looking for, right in one place. Whenever we hear something like a ‘fest’, we immerse ourselves into the thoughts of alluring colorful lights, unstoppable music, DJs and VJs, and even savoring foods. We tend to bend our hunches towards competitions, huge crowds, and cultural diversities which indeed gifts you a massive package of memories.
Knowing people, working with them and understanding them is like the crux of every fest. Interactions with different ideological personalities, add a bit more of the spice to your experience.
But that’s not all that you get from a fest, there are a plenty of things that one learns while engulfing himself/herself into a fest. So, we brought you a list of things that you take home, apart from memories when partaking in a fest.
College fests are a magnificent platform to show your leadership and management skills. They will help to prove or exhibit yourself that you are the one who can arrange and manage events and activities. You will learn to work in a team, you become social and start interacting people with different mindsets different thoughts which is very important being a BJMC student. Most A-grade colleges give real time situations to their students to deal with the pressure, face the unwanted situations, being calm and composed in unwelcomed circumstances and KCC Institute of legal and higher education follows the same way to prepare the students to deal with challenging situations. Platforms like annual fest offer great opportunities to enhance your managerial skills and this can make your resume strong enough because apart from studies these are the key points which every organization need. Having leadership quality, Team work quality, being calm under pressure, these are the prime characteristics which every organization looking for.
Annual fest ‘FUEL’ is organized by KCC Institutes every year in the month of February.
It is a one week event and its itinerary includes events including annual sports meet, followed by events and every event conducted by different clubs of students as we have different clubs like sports club, cultural club, photography club, theater and art club and many more, and the last day is reserved for celebrity night.
Annual feast is not less than any celebration meal for students, the preparations takes place one month prior to the main event and the entire fest is managed by the joint efforts of teachers and students with full support of college management. This year also things were no less, excitement levels of students were on ninth cloud I must say, they were very excited for the event .
Fests are not always organized to give a prize of memories to students, it lends a great platform to enhance and explore your leading skills. Not everyone is a born leader but could eventually turn into one by constantly scratching at the edges.
These opportunity like fest and events are great platforms for students, to show their hidden talent depending on their skills. They can participate in the events according to their choice. Suppose if you are good in stand-up comedy, Painting or singing, try your hands in that. fests provide a platform where you could enhance your socialising and communication skills. It is always the stage that we fear the most and the only way possible to curb this phobia is extensively indulging self into fests that push you to step on the stage. If you are good in your managerial skills, try managing event, if you are good in talking and social try to bring sponsors, If you are a good speaker, you can just grab the mic and help controlling the crowd. Talking about FUEL 2020, in the journey of events starting three days were dedicated as annual sports meet of the college, where students and teachers participated in various sports like running, cricket, volleyball etc.
Prizes were also distributed to all the winners. Everybody was very energetic for this and participated whole heartedly. These three days are marked as the only days of the college where students of all the branches are treated as one and they compete with other on the same platform irrespective of the course or branch they belongs to.
The event was then followed by various cultural programs like Collage making, POSTER MAKING, SINGING COMPETITION, DANCING COMPETITION, acting completion, poetry competition, Group dance etc. Gaming is a passion for this generation and considering this love for games, students were also made part of the very famous PUBG game.
This was not the end, the event highlights include a healthy competition of TUG of war as well and to add more fun to this Treasure hunt was also conducted. This was all marked as the joint efforts of Creative teachers and students. Even teachers also graced the stage with their elected performances and ramp walk. This was a huge support by them.
At last day of the event we welcomed Parmish Verma, and he performed on his many Punjabi hit numbers. Students were gone crazy after watching him live because he is very talented Punjabi singer and actor and heart throb among many youths.
He performed on his best songs, like sab fade jange, gal ni kadni etc. After watching students enthusiasm he shared his success story with students. Apart from him, Indian idol contestant Stutee Tiwari, and singer Dilbagh singh also lit the stage together and with their solo performances.
Famous poet Hashim Firozabadi also shared few of his excellent poetry with the crowd.
Famous comedian Parvinder singh also showcased his talent on he stage. He made everbody laughed with his skills and made the event more memorable. But, Parmish Verma’s performance made the event most successful and remarkable. The excitement for his presence was clearly visible on student’s faces and actions. Entertainment was the core of this event, and combined efforts of entire team made it a really successful one.
The fest does not end with this, a lot of motivational speeches by some of the well-known personalities, are also knocking your doors. The fest is going to serve you a varied amount of events, both related to technology and management.
